NEUBEH 545, Methods in Computational Neuroscience, is a mathematical refresher course that focuses on applications of mathematical methods to problems in neuroscience. The course includes lectures in mathematical topics including differential equations, probability, linear algebra and principal component analysis. These are supplemented by Matlab tutorials. On alternate weeks, teams of students present neuroscience papers in which important progress has been made using these concepts.
